Appeal on behalf of Ceri Jones running the London Marathon in 2014

Hi all. I'm running the London Marathon in April 2014 for the National Autistic Society. I have to raise £1800 for the charity to participate in the event, so I'm starting early.  I'm running the event with a close friend whose son is autistic.

Below is the link to prove that I'm running it for a charity and good cause http://www.virginmoneygiving.com/Cerijones2014

I have currently raised £700 so doing ok.

I am doing a kids party at Britton Ferry rugby club near to Xmas and a friend is doing the party for free (bouncy castle disco etc) and we are doing a raffle to generate funds. I have kindly been donated gifts from local shops.

Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.

Please give generously as this is a massive challlenge for me, but Im fully committed to it, and need your help and support.

I will be running the streets in the cold and rainy winter months, and will be spurred on by your generousity. All money raised is going to a good cause, which is personal/close to the heart of a friend that Im running with.

£500 buys gardening equipment for up to 50 adults at one of the adult centres;

£1000 replaces play equipment for over 50 autistic children at one of the specialist schools;

£2000 gives a person with Asperger syndrome the opportunity for full time employment with high profile commercial companies.

So please help a great cause, and help a friend fulfill a massive achievement with pride

Thank you very much
